He would have won a Heisman if he had gone to blue blood school

The Netflix sports docs have generally stunk. Hope this one is different.

He’s one dude who I thought would be a lock for multiple Pro Bowl selections and even a couple All Pro selections in the NFL.
He and Cade McNown are probably the two NFL players over the past 30 years I’ve been most wrong about in thinking they were going to be studs in the pros.
McFadden didn’t necessarily have a bad pro career. Played 10 seasons with over 1000 yards for a couple of them, but I really thought he was going to do MUCH more.

As an LSU fan, can we please never talk about the 3OT game?
Thanks in advance!

My recollection is that he broke one long run early out of the wildcat formation, but was mostly contained the rest of the game.
You're kinda correct.

I SEENT it as well. granted, i was passed out in my seat for the first quarter from tailgating a bit too hard but holy shite what a game.
I remember that my buddy and I got lost finding who we were supposed to tailgate with. So we just sat on a random curb, dejected and tired from wandering around for an hour, and said frick it. We'll just sit here and drink this case until its time to go in.
Then this guy comes up to us and says, "Guys, if yall are just going to party on the curb you might as well join us" and we were so glad we did. Bunch of veterinarians were hosting the tailgate. They had a massive coffin cooler of grape jello shots that were in horse syringes. and a full bar. and food. Still one of the coolest experiences i ever had at an LSU game. fricking legendary hospitality from those guys!

Thas to be up there for some. USC's entire offensive line and backfield in that game were all eventually drafted in the 1st Round.
233 yards (Charles White and fullback Marcus Allen)....
Charles White, 185 yards on 31 carries (6 yards a carry with a D stacked at the line to solely stop the run as it was USC's offense).

Unfortunately he was not. Matt Jones was there 01-04. DMac and Felix were both 05-07.
Offense would have been amazing had Matt Jones came around a couple years later. Although, I’m sure Nutt would’ve gone 7-5 regardless of the talent.

No QB and McFadden was injured.

Operation ultraconservative offense.
Engage.

You're not going to stop McFadden.
Slow him down enough and put them in a passing situation.
Good example is the 2006 game.

His career ended when he got picked by Oakland.
It also didn't help that his mileage was starting to pile up while at Arkansas.
