Every other sports league will be playing in the fall except college and hs football. Truly maddening

I just laugh at the comments that state the P5 teams should break away from the NCAA.

If you have ever spent 1 minute around the NCAA you know that the P5 has complete control of the NCAA.

The P5 leaders on the academic side have the power and the ADs yield to that power and the influence.

The NCAA has NEVER made a decision that was in the best interest of the G5 or DII schools without that decision ultimately helping P5 teams.

Through the last 25 years it has always been the non P5 schools That wanted to abolish the NCAA and start over.

Lane Kiffin is absolutely using this to send Covid invested hookers to Miss State players a week before the game.

H1N1 was actually killing college students and cancelling school or sports was literally never an option or discussion

That concept is not in the purview of the NCAA.

The other outbreaks, like SARS, burned themselves out and never resurfaced.

Time for the SEC. Big 10, Big 12 and ACC to tell Mark in Indy to get lost. They will run themselves and negotiate their own TV contracts

You realize there was no way in hell the Democrats were going to allow any types of sports thus year. If you want your lives back, you must give the Democrats what they want.....power.

Unfortunately, I think the conferences were looking for guidance like this so they have something to rely on in making their decisions.

The pussification of America is complete.

These players are more likely to need a hospital stay from playing the game of football than they are from contracting the CV.

The conferences and schools were absolutely just waiting on the NCAA to do something like this, so that they didn’t have to make any of the decisions themselves. All P5 conferences will have “postponed” (but actually cancelled with no intent of rescheduling) the season by August 1
