If I was a Vandy player, I would not play either.
They should stop the tournament and resume in a week.
How do they know for sure that the 13 players from NCS did not infect Vandy players yesterday.....

As a Vanderbilt fan, bias aside these NC State players worked too damn hard for their season to end like this. How come no one in that stupid NCAA office has a viable contingency plan for something like this? It’s like wtf were they doing the past month?

There have been a lot of talk of asterisk championships the past couple of years and there's been debates about each case, like bubble championship or no crowds, etc.
This one, there is no debate. The championship was not earned, dunno how any true competitor can even feel good about how this is shaking out.

There should be a monumental outcry about this. What a joke. What a horrible way to end the kids' season.

The spirit of college athletics is all about teamwork, fairness, and competition.
Vanderbilt, Texas, and Mississippi State should all stand with NC State and refuse to play. Stand up to this nonsense and dare the NCAA to cancel the tournament.
It’s completely tainted anyway at this point with NC State out.

If it were LSU playing instead Vandy there would not be this much outcry
It definitely sucks what happened. And it’s bullshite. But even if you’re 100% against the vaccine, as an athlete why not take it just so that way your team doesn’t get completely fricked?

No way this will happen, but what the NCAA should do is move the Championship Series back to give equal rest.
