This is an embarrassment to the NCAA. If you care about players safety and fair opportunities, then postpone whole CWS until next Saturday and resume. Nonsense of what this country has come to. LINK

It definitely sucks but no other team had these issues. They knew the Covid rules coming in I’m sure. There were ways around this going into it and they chose against them.

You’re in the final 4 and state is most likely about to lose to Texas barring an unreal comeback. You can work around this. NCAA is an absolute joke. I feel so bad for NC State and if this was LSU I would be arrested

NC State likely doesn’t have enough players left to continue playing right now. It isn’t fair to the rest of the field to push everything back 2 weeks because they chose against taking precautions. Not to mention the logistics, contracts, ect. of pushing everything back two weeks. Are all the teams supposed to go back home and rest for 10 days then fly back to Omaha?
This was the only real option once NC State ran out of players.

It’s embarrassing to the sport and to the NCAA. Most states have opened up and to test kids to end their potential careers and dreams is absolute shameful. Y’all might think this isn’t a big deal but it’s awful. I feel terrible for that team.

What a bunch of bullshite. Could you imagine having that happen after your team did so well and made it so far with the setup they had going into Friday too? They looked like the best team in Omaha up until this shite happened. Wow

Is it fair? To allow Vandy, State, and Texas to rest their pitching staffs and allow an equal opportunity to compete next weekend? Yes. Is it fair to make State and Texas play another game when Vandy doesn’t have to when they should have? No.

Are you serious? I haven't paid attention to the CWS today and had no idea this happened.
What a joke. These people refuse to follow actual science. COVID had LONG since been proven to be overblown and, furthermore, it is virtually ZERO risk to young people. And these are athletes in peak physical condition that we're talking about here.
But the NCAA is still going to sit there and continue to pretend that COVID is this big, bad boogieman, and make a team forfeit? That's disgusting. Absolutely despicable by the NCAA.
