Just gotta keep defending him tough and hope he cools down a bit.
I mean I still say it. He's gonna get his, but do you even try to stop him? Obviously don't give him an easy layup, but making him take jump shots with say tucker defending isn't a horrible idea. That allows Ariza, harden, and cp3 to rotate on/off curry and Thompson.
The team that stops the role players will win the game and ultimately the series. We saw it in game 1 and 2 already

Here is a hot take.
Houston is better... and should be favored from here on out.
Why you say?
Simply put, both Harden and CP3 are better passers and s distributors than either Thompson or Curry. Also, both can just as clearly get their shots off their own creation.
The key is as you mentioned about defending Durant. Let him get his. Fine. But those other players can exert all their energy suffocating Thompson and Curry. Then on offense they can do little while allowing Harden and CP3 to do the yomens work finding the open shooter. Eric Gordon to a lesser extent too.
This series really turned technically tonight. I saw clearly that Houston is actually the better team. As I mentioned earlier in this post.
I never thought Draymond would be the catalyst, but you see how poorly their offense runs when he shits the bed.
It is going to take a hell of a coaching job by Kerr to change the dynamic once again.

Hey where was the GSW "give a frick" defense tonight? You have no idea what you're talking about.

Yeah, I think that's a bit of a hot take. If Curry is hurt, and plays like he did tonight, the Rockets definitely have a chance. They still did just happen to split at home. If they win one of the next two, it's anybody's series. That's still asking a lot.

It is a hot take and should be down voted.
What really changed the game tonight wasn't Harden or CP3 but their role players played outstanding. Also, their help defense was outstanding. Stepping into the passing lanes and tipping balls to getting out on the break.
I still feel that both CP3 and Harden can create for others better than both Thompson and Curry when necessary. That did not happen in Game 1 but they can do it we both know.
The fact Green means so much to Warriors offense could present problems if Houston truly has them figured out. I have never seen Green look discombobulated looking for shooters and cutters as I did tonight. It got to him you could tell. But they will change some designs up to get guys open and he will find them I'd assume in Game 3.

Dubs might not lose again this year.

Would not surprise me either way
Excellent staff and players. They will get back to defending the role players with more tenacity. That extra pass from Houston had them all in check tonight. They will make adjustments in their rotations while protecting the basket
Very good teams with great coaching. Been very impressed so far. Unlike watching whatever the frick Tyrone Lue is doing in Cleveland.

GS already accomplished the goal in Houston they set out to accomplish in stealing one in Houston. They played like it too

You see Kerr after the 1st? “We did like we like to do after winning a game and turned it over a lot.”

It wasn’t a must win but GS missed the chance to close out the series at home.

It was like a whole new offense last night. Complete 180 from game 1. Legit looked unstoppable and everyone was hitting - something that didn’t happen in game 1

I'd probably put a lot of this on the Warriors effort. They didn't give a shite last night.
Now they'll go home, win both, and everyone will forget about this game 2

They played like shite on both ends of the floor. They're prone to this when they don't give a shite.
