Either that or move the 3pt like back 5 ft and eliminate the 3 pt line along the sides of the court. Something has to shake the game up and eliminate this boring hail-mary-athon style of play.

Every team in the NBA averages more than 10 made 3pt shots per game. Might as well just eliminate the 3pt line.

No need to widen the court. Make the 3 point line a straight line across the court at the hash marks (or deeper if you want). Get rid of the corner 3 point shot.

I've thought about that idea before. I'm in favor. But 10 is too few. I'd be down for like 15-20 for the cap.

Not a horible idea. But, to add to your point, i beleive that if this were to go into frutition you would need to pizas it up a bit for entertanment. My proposal, after the 3 point cap has been hit, in order to gain 3 points from a basket you can gain that from alley oops! Best of both worlds! You still can gain a 3 points shot and the youth will be entertained by esrntially putting on a slam dunk contest mid game. Win win!

No one forced pitchers to wait 3 minutes in between pitches or throw 7 pick off attempts between batters, but rules were adjusted for the betterment and entertainment of the game in MLB which now surpasses NBA in popularity

Kinda hard for me to follow Bob Costas because I don’t have social media. It seems to be a logical choice given the close proximity of the corner 3 point shot.
