lakers are probably saying kuzma or ingram and a future first. but not both. spurs are saying they want both and the pick

Give them both. Seems fair.

Maybe that's the plan anyway but they want to see if they can get the Spurs to cave.

I have no problem with giving the spurs Kuzma Ingram and a 1st.

Can the Lakers still afford to sign Julius Randle if they get all 3 (Leonard, James, and George) ? What a fricking stacked lineup if yes

Yeah not like they’ve forced their way out or suddenly left other situations before

How many years do you think PG, Lebron, and Kawhi would stay in L.A.? Or hell, any 2 of the 3...?

I have no idea, but assuming they stay past whatever contract they sign is getting ahead of yourself. I’m sure Miami fans didnt think Lebron Wade and Bosh would only be together for 4 years

I could see George and Leonard never leaving as they are West Coast.

Hard to tell with James, but he could finish his career out there as they would be two guys to play with and morph into an elite PF.

In reply to the Kawhi called LeBron tweet

@Cavsanada After about two minutes LeBron hung up the phone confused that there was no voice on the other side of the line

I think it's reasonable to assume that Lebron would stay there for as long as Kuzma or Ingram would stay there.

That’s fair, and I’m certainly not trying to argue the Lakers shouldn’t do this.

But trying to act like they wouldn’t leave on their own for a different/better situation is ignoring history with both players at this point

I don't want to ruin a page of the thread with this.

But when looking at where they all are in their careers(especially Lebron), I think it would be ridiculous to think they'd up and leave this potential Lakers team for a better situation.

You think the possibility that a better situation would present itself is ridiculous, or you think he or they wouldn’t leave even if it does?

Those three give the Lakers a 4 year window where all three should be performing at extremely high levels. That's gonna be hard to duplicate elsewhere.

LeBron has had other finishers before, but if the Lakers keep Lonzo, it would be the first time he's played alongside another really good distributor.

It's hard to imagine any of the three getting a better situation than being joined.

Bron will probably leave to play with his son in 5 years if necessary

Lonzo has a lot of work to do to be a 30-35 minute guy on that level of contender

I think both scenarios are unlikely and it would be ridiculous to think that either is probable

Future 1st and Deng as a salary dump? Any takers?

But a top 8:
Lonzo
George
Leonard
Lebron
Lopez (has been vocal about playing on cheap to contend)

Bench:
Hart
Randle
Zubac

Would be fun to watch.
