Lonzo has a lot of work to do to be a 30-35 minute guy on that level of contender
Really just improve his shooting percentage especially FT%. Other parts of his game are solid enough and will only get better
Eta 2nd thing would be to just be more aggressive in general. Push the ball up the court. Make shite happen. Drive the ball all the way to the basket occasionally. There were so many times he would walk the ball up the court and then pass it before even being defended.

You don't pay Randle. You got after a Redick or Elington, my gawd the wide open 3s they would get.
It really doesn't matter who you get at center, cheapest body you can find. Bebe or Baynes would kill it with that big 3.

I think both scenarios are unlikely and it would be ridiculous to think that either is probable
It would have been beyond ridiculous to think they would all be joining up with the Lakers 4 years ago, the summer after Kawhi beat Lebron and he was going back to Cleveland. Or ridiculous to think Lebron would be headed back to Cleveland in 4 years the summer he signed with Miami. I think instability is more likely at this point than things staying the same and I will leave it at that and not clutter this up anymore

There's as many L's in that starting lineup as they'd have in the WCF

C’mon Ag, this make absolutely 0 sense. Unless y’all can explain something that I’m missing

Expirings to send to Cleveland along with a draft pick asset? Is that the purpose?
Posted on 6/28/18 at 4:41 pm to Fus0623
I mean I’m guessing the pick would be for Kawhi but why take on salary? Unless they need an expiring to match salaries for something. This is too much to keep track of
Posted on 6/28/18 at 4:43 pm to kadillak
expirings dont help this summer though. they could potentially help for 2019 as a way to get rid of deng and have it all come off. but it hurts the plan this summer. helps get kawhi, but hurts everything else

LeBron about to take this thing over and make LA bring his buddies JR and Tristan with him. LA going to forward the expirings from Denver to Cleveland.

But a Denver pick? Thats out of lottery range.
Also, is it possible to trade for a player then flip him immediately in the offseason? Maybe this is the play. Idk, just trying to make sense of it.

You can as long as it's one player for one player IIRC. If he's part of a package it's 60 days

Kemba to Cleveland is a no go

Didn’t see this posted.
Looks like that’ll cut into Indy’s possible cap space. I think they are left with ~20 mil.

Magic did say the Lakers are looking at two summers of free agency.
ETA: if this summer doesn’t break the way they want, there’s next summer as well was the context.
They aren’t going to panic basically.
