I thought your top 5 order was:

Harden
Harden
Harden
Harden
Harden

Because he spits hot fire.

You don’t know me very well then. Hardwn is 4 for now. I have always ranked my players unbiased. Through an evaluators lense moreso than a fans lense.

SI's top lists are always a joke. Harden is not a top 5 player. Actually a case can be made that he's not even top 10, but he is definitely the most overrated player in the NBA today and that's not really up for debate.

4 first team all nba in 5 years.
3 top 2 mvp in 4 years.
It is nearly impossible to make an argument that he is not top 5. Defensive metrics are very very good. I got him at 4 bc the other players have won at the highest levels. But hardwn is closer to the other three then anyone else is to him.

Every time Harden drops 9 points in a quarter you start saying he's close to being better than Lebron

harden can be playing better than Lebron for a specific stretch of time and it can be true that he is playing better than Lebron. But when we rank guys like this we take everything into account. One good month or even one good season doesn’t enable you to jump guys who have done it for longer and proven they win at the highest levels. You always gotta have the respect for that first and foremost. Respect the league and the guys who have proven the can lead and win big. If you apply the same standard to all players then the pecking order is natural. That’s how you get

Bron
Kevin
Steph
Harden

IN that order. Then a tier line.

The best player outside of the big 4.

Jokes. That ends after 3. Harden belongs in the group with Davis, Giannis, Westbrook, and Paul as great players who haven't been able to put it together in the playoffs and make a legit run at a title.

1. Lebron
2. KD
3. Steph
4. Harden
5. Davis

I don't have a problem with that list.

Lebron is still the best, hands down.

KD is 2, can't argue.

Curry is 3, underrated recently because of Durant but he's such a far away amazing offensive juggernaut

Harden is 4, he's a damn good offensive talent. Yeah his defense isn't great but he's a ball handler so they automatically get credit there too.

Davis is 5, easily top 5 but I can see the arguments for the 4 above him. He's one of the best two way players in the league (arguably the best) but it's a ball handlers league so he won't get credit for being a big man.

Harden had CC TOP 10 all Time offense the last two seasons. He is at the level now where his presence ensures an elite all time offense.

You tell me bubba. He lead his team to 65 wins without even good health. Gentleman sweep every team in the league. And only lost to GOAT in 7 bc his robin got nicked.

My post was in regards to playoffs, where Harden is much worse than he is in the regular season. He's a regular season player bubba.

Why is AD never knocked for not winning anything?

Harden has never missed the playoffs in his entire career. He’s been to 2 conference finals in the West.

Even though he has not yet reached the Finals, he’s still shown he drives winning teams.

AD hadn’t even won a playoff game until this past season.

Harden isn’t given enough credit for being a winning basketball player. He has the personal accolades, but he also leads winning teams.

Every player ever save for one or two is worse in the playoffs. Harden in the playoffs is still really really really good.

That is a fair point, but one guy is 25 and the other 29, so that age difference also matters.

Well, he started his career with 2 future MVPs, compare that to AD, and I'm sure you can see the difference between Harden going to the playoffs every year his 1st few years vs AD not.

When do you think he would have won a playoff game if he came in his rookie season with 2 MVP level talents?

True, but that's because of how often he shrinks in playoff games. He does it much more often than the guys he should be compared to, I've posted that with data a few times before.
