yep. Dark horse ROY kinda guy. Daryl had him as the sixth best player in the draft. Got him in Rd 2.
LOL. bruh.
How is the 4th guard at best gonna win ROY?
CP3 runs into Harden, hurting himself and Harden flops into EG and tears both of their knees up?
He's a solid prospect, but dude wins ROY and I'll venmo or paypal you 10 benjis. You don't even need to put up a bet for that.

Jokic looks like a prototypical player on offense.
Mighty.
I saw towns do nothing in playoffs.
Right now id take jokic and be happy to start a team around him. 32 minutes.
18.5 10.7 rebounds 6.1 assists
That's more assists than a lot of point guards. 15th in nba
Top tier rebounder. 9th in nba
A confident competent big man.
Towns 35 minutes
21 12.5. 2.4
Probably a very small minority, but I'd take Jokic > KAT.
Worse offensive scoring ability than KAT, but he's by far the best passing big in the game. Far better defender than KAT too.
rebounding is similar, but:
Per 36 rebounding
Jokic: 11.8
KAT: 12.5
As far as advanced stats, they're VERY close
Career PER: 24.3 to 24.5
Career WS/48: 0.209 to 0.196
Career RBPM: 6.9 to 4.5
Career VORP: 13.9 to 14.0
I think starting fresh, I can build a better team with Jokic than I can with KAT. He can elevate other players while playing solid defense. KAT can't play D worth a shite. The #s speak for themselves, those 2 years before Butler he was absolutely atrocious.

Carmelo Anthony plans to sign for the vet minimum (2.4 mil) with Rox once he clears waivers
Now y'all are at the 2.

Melo for 2.4 million is worth it, easily.

But is melo/Ennis better than Ariza/luc?
Posted on 7/23/18 at 8:57 am to whatiknowsofar
Boom. Rockets will still have the full MLE.

B. We don’t know what the final roster will look like. Daryl Morey is pretty unpredictable and is aggressive, so we have no idea what his plans are in full. So it’s hard to really assess how good the team may be when we aren’t even sure what the roster going into the season will look like.

Losing Luc means nothing. Ennis, like Luc, will be a non factor. Gerald Green is better than both of them and will hopefully get those minutes.
I personally would rather have Ariza over Melo, but Ariza is gone. Ariza was the least important of the 5 starters. Tucker passed him up. The best 5 will be Clint, Tucker, Gordon, Harden and Paul.

Except for the part of me that wouldn't want Melo at any price.
His VORP was -1.1 and 12.7 PER last year. He isn't even a replacement player.

That was playing w Weatbrook. he don’t know how to make his teammates better.

The fact that some fans get excited over the idea of signing Melo is beyond me.
Posted on 7/23/18 at 10:01 am to Rep520
if he was a rock solid dependable 40-45% 3 point shooter, he could flourish, but i don't know if i'd characterize him as dependable.
