Why would they ' steal' minutes of someone better? Deng makes $18 million/ year ,but there has been no pressure on the Lakers to play him why should they be pressuered to play 3 guys making $7 million total?
Perhaps they'll 'steal' a part of the 26 mpg that Clarkson /IT both averaged as Lakers? Or steal the 26 mpg of an unhappy Randle? Or ' steal' the 23 mpg of Brook Lopez ? Or ' steal' the 22 mpg of Larry Nance?
These guys would be thrilled to get a fraction of those minutes above. Unless there are injuries or the FO deports a couple younguns to Canada ( for Kawhi) they are 8-10 or 9-11 in the rotation at best. That's all.

That is a good deal for both sides. I wonder what took so long for them to reach an agreement.
From my count there are only a handful of unsigned guys left. Caplea is obviously the big one. Then Hood, Monroe, Alex Len, and Okafor. David West and Dwyane Wade if they don't retire. And guys like Devin Harris, Ty Lawson, and Shane Larkin who I don't think anyone expected to be signed yet at this point.

What are you typing paragraphs about? Mcgee is the starting center right now. Lance is cutting into Hart's minutes. Beasley into Kuzma's. Rondo into Ball's. They wouldn't pay them if they weren't planning on that.

I do not understand how you have come to this conclusion. Kuzma, Hart, and Ball are not going to play 48 minutes per night. Hart and Kuzma are not going to have their minutes reduced because of Lance and especially Beasley.
Rondo will get minutes similar to Isaiah Thomas last year, who averaged 26 mpg while Lonzo averaged 34 mpg.

Right now id take jokic and be happy to start a team around him. 32 minutes.
