and I think KD winning 2 finals MVPs and still not getting the credit he thinks he deserves is the cautionary tale for a lot of other players in the NBA.
For example(and this is just a hypothetical, no one slam me on the contents lol) if the Lakers won the title this season and AD won Finals MVP, I don't think the overall sentiment for AD's accomplishment would be anywhere near KD's.
Disclaimer to say this board would not be the best judge, as AD would absolutely get slammed like KD did on TD, but that's because of the obvious Pels link.

Hopefully we don't see something like that any time soon, though.
ETA: two stars, I don't think it matters really. 3 stars, or signing with a championship team that keeps it's core together will see backlash, IMO.

Meh. Harden has had more power than the coach and GM for a while now. It’s a players league. And he has earned it. even with les was there you always got the feeling that harden could get rid of the coach or gm pretty easily And he has def been signing off on all moves for years except for the very minor ones.

backlash?
What emotional drama?
Walton joined Larry mchale and the chief after rehabbing stress fractures.
Got 6th man.
They won the championship.
Then he retired.

It almost happened again this offseason
Kawhi would not have been joining a team that won 73 games the year before.
It's not even close to the same. It would be more like Lebron/AD/Kawhi getting together, and the following year they get another All NBA player. What you're describing isnt remotely the same.
Hell, Lebron/AD/Kawhi and a bunch of vet minimums is arguably not as good as GS BEFORE KD.
quote:Well, if Kawhi did that, there's almost no shot AD would be winning any FInals MVPs due to the usage of Lebron and Kawhi. And given how much Lebron and Kawhi have accomplished, people would be crazy to discount those 2 if either won the Finals MVP.

Tyson Chandler has signed with Houston. He was signed using the full 1 year AARP exception.

Good vet signing to back up Clint and rebound and catch lobs from russ with the second unit. one move left to make now is to find that backup for PJ.

Rockets still interested in Igoudala and Korver.

I’d rather they try to trade for Robert Covington instead of Iguodala.

It’s going to cost a whole lot more

Agreed. I thought the whole rationale for Russ's failures in OKC was their inability to surround him with shooters. Adding a guy like Igoudala isnt good.

Covington will want to be locked down for longer. Iggy is a good deal for a contender. It'll probably be cheap and he'll take a short deal to chase a ring.

Send more picks. Resign Shumpert to match contracts.
Minnesota is in rebuilding mode anyways.

Yes Gersson should go ahead and send him over.
