Can "up to something" please be retired from articles about sports team's free agency plans?

EVERY fricking team is up to something 100% of the time.

Gambo has embarrassed himself so much lately, and he's been so adamant the Suns aren't signing DLo. I feel like it's literally inevitable.

I wouldn't mind him in Dallas if Kemba heads elsewhere. Seems like the Mavs are adamant about adding a point guard

I expect the Pels to spread their cap among solid vets on short deals. Don’t expect any fireworks.

God no. I like Horford, but

A. Not for anywhere close to that much
B. Does not fit in the Mavs plans at all

76ers might be happy taking Gordon and Tucker for Butler in a sign and trade

Mavericks should sign Brogdon and Cauley-Stein. Luka is going to be a perennial MVP Candidate. 3-6Latvia will be a great 20ish a night stretch 4. Justin Jackson/Brogdon/WCS are a good supporting cast for them. That’s a 7/8 seed next year and they can add another piece in free agency the following summer and be a top 4 seed.

Wouldn't be opposed to that, but looking at it through Cuban's eyes, he has wanted his own Big 3 for some time now and this offseason is a good opportunity for him.

Maybe the Raptors run will change that thought process

Is there a betting line on Jared Dudley signing with New Orleans, cause I'd like to hit that hard

Well Luka hasn’t made a ASG yet and Kristaps made one and he hasn’t played in a year in a half so even if they do sign say Boogie or Kawhi or Durant, they wouldn’t really have a big 3. Plus the Mavericks know the playbook for defeating super teams with little to no bench as they were the OGs of doing it. Get a star maybe two and a bunch of solid vets to get you 8-10 deep. Doesn’t matter if your opponent has 2 of the top 3 players in a series if you have 8 of the next 9.

The most wild thing about last year is that Beasley continued to grade out really strongly considering his cost

Strong playmaker, capable if unremarkable defender, and you would think his three point shot should come back up

That's a player the lakers need to target for a minimum deal

I would love to run out a Brogdon-Luka-DFS-Three6Latvia-WCS starting lineup with guys like Brunson, Hardaway Jr., Kleber and Dwight Powell off the bench.

We also have a large trade exception as well, so we can fill out our roster that way as well

HJr. should not be in the franchise’s future plans. Dump him ASAP. Brunson, DFS, Kleber and Powell is a quality bench. Need one more quality player from that bench though. Some alpha personality or some high energy grinder. Just a dude with a chip on his shoulder. Carlisle is such an underrated coach. Give him a bucket of poop and he’ll find the corn and nuts and make a decent snack out of it.
