He may wish to run with wherever kawhi goes, but he or his camp from the beginning said most money and years was the bug factor for him.

It could mean nothing. What if Dallas gets tied of waiting and says it’s now or never? Green probably jumps at that point.

That's true, but if Kawhi was staying, the Raptors would most likely offer him whatever he wanted. They'd have a bigger tax bill, sure, but it would be worth it to run it back for a second ring. Plus, All of their big contracts come off next season so they won't be stuck.
Him going to Dallas would mean at the very least Kawhi hasn't spoken to him about going back to Toronto. If Kawhi wanted to stay in Toronto I'd think he wouldn't let Green walk because they wouldn't be able to sign a replacement for him.

That was the general thought, at least until 5 mins ago
But really, why would Dallas tell Green they aren't willing to wait it out? They have money and not many others do, so what would it hurt to wait?
