Maybe the casual fans don’t. But they don’t even care anyways. The ones that really are into the game absolutely remember the details.

WBB, the irony of you posting this almost immediately after your ‘a super team is a super team, the details aren’t important’ nonsense is truly remarkable

quote:The creator of the PIPM metric has projected market values for next the 3 seasons while 538 has it for the next 7. Since the one only goes out 3 years, I only calculated both for 3 years for consistency purposes.
Him at 30 mil is dog shite unless he takes another leap.
PIPM gives Russell a 3 year total market value of $64.8 million or $21.6 per year while 538 gives him a total market value of $115.4 million or $38.5 million per year. Averaging the 2, his total market value is $90.1 or $30.3 million per year, which is a bit higher than his salary.
So it looks like a contract pretty fair value, and even the low end projection doesn’t result in some outrageous discrepancy like say Wiggins’s contract.

This is the second time I've seen you side with someone who was openly laughing at you.

I agree with you on this. These titles are hollow to a large chunk of nba fans and these players don’t even realize it because they’re surrounded by people kissing their arse.
I honestly thought Kawhi had more respect for the game of basketball to be honest B. This move just blows because the league is so fricking stacked talent wise, but we’re once again going to be subjected to a team that’s a historic collection of talent. It just really makes the league less fun. The Lakers could have gotten a Kyrie Irving type and I would have been cool with it. That team is beatable. Very hard to beat but beatable. At least there’s the hope you can beat them. Adding the best player in the world when he’s playing like he did in the playoffs is a joke.
We finally got rid of the foregone “We win if healthy” Warriors and an even more super team is going to replace it. Except this time every city in America is going to be subjected to the biggest trash bandwagon fans on the planet.

super team titles are discounted compared to non super team ones.
I wouldn't disagree that an argument could be made for this but we know this isn't currently true. The majority of people will look at them the same as any titles in the grand scheme of things.

Disagree super team tittles don't count cause the players are bitches

Don’t worry WBB. As long as you're here spewing your stupidity, I’ll be here pointing it out.

On one hand, yes.
On the other hand. Every city has already been subjected to those trash fans. They've just been wearing Blue and Gold the last 4 years.

Bc titles won by super teams are discounted on the individual players resumes Bc they took the easy way to get them.
Still better than no titles.
All-time greats with no titles either weren't good enough or they prioritized something above winning championships.

You can spin however you want playing with stats. Each player formed a super team that otherwise wouldn’t have existed. They are more alike than different.
And you wanted the Rockets to form one by getting Butler, thus discrediting yet another Rockets title. That's the only way they can win one

Once again, it's the "I'm losing so I'll take my ball and go home" Pinata approach

the closest comparison to harden = the GOAT himself, Michael Jordan.
Closest comparison to lebron = mail Man.

I am going off his link.
It says harden is more like Jordan than he is like a d wade or a magic johnson.
Some good morning browse material to key in different players names and see who they are most similar to.
