Idk their cap details but that $3.4 million could be the difference in the end of being a tax or not team or getting another difference maker while also gaining a pick. Going forward, there’s no guarantee GSW finished mid 20s. That pick could also be used as a sweetener down the line on another player. Not an A lister but if someone is selling a B level player for the best offer, it’s something.

Is anyone other than Iguodala a likely buyout candidate to join a contender?
From my list of the top 50 free agents, the only ones left besides Kawhi are Cousins, Green (waiting on Kawhi), Oubre (RFA), Marcus Morris, Jabari Parker, and Willie Cauley Stein (no longer RFA). And then there are 18 other guys left who were on the CBS Top 80.

How do Buyouts work? I assumed there was a limit on what you can buy out and Iggy has 17 mil left on his contract
