Yeah. Kershaw walked Harper. Baez came in and hit Werth with the first pitch. 5-3 now new pitcher coming in

Dodgers? So it seems it was the correct decision if he left with a lead.

It wasn't a question of if Kershaw could win today, it was what would be left to win game 5

Remember when I said it's possible Kershaw stone management I'm picking this game. Well did you see the luck he gave Robert when he came out on the mound to talk to him before harper? basically said go frick yourself I'm staying in

You got to get there he won last year same situation

I think he's done it 3 times 2-1 record.

It's really too bad for Kershaw this time. He really did pitch well until the 3rd out in the 7th inning but he got fricked by the bullpen.

The Dodgers basically had to start him IMO, they only really have two experienced good starters (Urias could be good...but considering his youth he's a wild card) and the Nationals absolutely tee off against average starters or worse.

You have to win two games. Last year they had a rested Greinke to throw game 5, so it was worth it. This year they will have Urias or a short rest Rich Hill versus Scherzer if it even gets to that.
