really only a one team list

Ohio State

IU - don't trust them enough against top talent though they will win a game
UGA - defense is starting to roll. Gunner in big game against a tough D will be interesting
Bama - not consistent enough for a 4 game run
A&M - they played ND at the right time. Texas matchup will be telling

Bucks have been on auto-pilot all year but they look real damn good

personally, i think A&M has a very good shot.... Ohio State is really good too...

Indiana has been impressive, but at some point, i think they'll come back to earth... ND i don't think has the goods, but they ain't far off... Oklahoma is a team I'd keep an eye on as well

So heckin disrespectful to the SEC. Georgia live AF. Bama can beat anybody as well though I dont think they can make a full 4 game playoff run

Bama has a good shot at a 1st round bye. That bye is huge and changes things.

Yeah but Ohio State/IU or A&M/Bama will have a 3 game run due to 1st round bye. UGA is at a disadvantage because they for sure will need a 4 game run.

I think Bama with only a 3 game run would be in the conversation because they would get an extra week to prepare for that 1st game plus more rested.

I think the list should be

OSU - either 3/4 game run needed
A&M - either 3/4 game run needed
Bama - 3 game run only
UGA - 4 game run
Oregon - need right teams in path to champ game

There’s 10 teams that could win it this year. No one is dominant so far other than OSU but they haven’t really been tested.

Why they are ranked 21. All the SEC teams count a soon to be unranked Missouri for top 25 wins so why would this not count?
Missouri has lost to #10, 12, 3 and 8. Illinois hasn't played anything near that type of schedule and is now going to lose to Wisconsin. And, OSU hasn't played anything like Missouri's schedule either.

I am not sure that this is an advantage. Look at last year.

Teams with nearly a month off all lost by two scores except ASU playing teams who had played a competitive game 9 - 10 days prior.

That will particularly be the case this year as your 5 - 10 are likely to be some order of:
Georgia
Texas Tech
Oregon
Ole Miss
Oklahoma
Notre Dame
Alabama

I don’t think it’s too hard to envision those teams picking off a flat team on a bye.

No, not necessarily.

They could not make the SECCG and still get a bye. Thus only needing 3 games.

Don't sleep on Notre Dame. They keep getting better each week.

Also....BYU or Texas Tech could surprise some people by winning a game they are not supposed to. Neither will win it all, but don't be surprised if one of them is in the semi final.

Hear me out…. Indiana won’t make it past the first round.

I think we will get a sleeper winning it all this year.

Indiana is OU of the 2000s and 2010s beating teams up but when they play a defense they aren't nearly as good. I just don't buy them at all

Sounds like ND
