Dog counters as bad as State Baseball pitch counters for LHSAA this year.

Side note, how do we not have a televised beer chugging contest for the 4th yet?

It is hot and humid on the eastcoast today, so I am sure that affected them today and the Japanese dude cant compete because he refuses to wear Nathan's attire...he is sponsored by some foreign hot dog company.

Nah...once Chestnut came on the scene Kobayashi stopped winning long before he was barred from competition at Nathan's.

Chestnut is the GOAT
Kobayashi is the Godfather

I was looking at the records for this event yesterday.
25 was the old record.
Kobayashi ate 50 the first year he entered and won!

He inspired the growth of the sport of Competitive Eating.

What's the deal with Kobayashi being banned or whatever? I have not heard about that at all (though I admittedly don't really "follow" competitive eating ).

He wouldn't sign an exclusive contract with the company that puts on the Nathan's contest. So they banned him. Or something like that.
