Eliminate the 10-second run-off at the end of NFL games. Dumbest shite ever.

no more timeouts in football or basketball. its no different than cheating during a test. prepare and study properly until the moment arises

Penalties in football shouldnt just cancel each other out. It should be the difference in yards.

I've always wondered why College Basketball plays two halves instead of four quarters. When I've asked people, it's like college football not having any kind of playoff for decades. There's no reason, just tradition. Kids play four quarters in high school and men go back to it in pro leagues. Why play two halves in men's college basketball??

I still follow, but barely. College sports are no longer special.

Transfer portal. You get one transfer. That’s it. Free agency 24/7 has to stop

On the same series of downs when there is a half the distance to the goal penalty, the same yardage should be the mark off for the opposition team on subsequent play.

First and goal at the 2. D jumps offside. 1 yard penalty. In the same series O has illegal procedure … penalty is 1 yard.

Also inured player in football, most sit out 4 plays before returning.

Offense fumbles out of end zone, get ball at 15 and it’s same down. If it was fumbled on 3rd down, 3rd and goal at the 15. If it was first down, then 1st and goal at 15.

If you are off the green and your approach shot hits the pin, causing it to roll off the green, you get to place the ball the length of the flagstick from the hole. Good shots shouldn’t be penalized.

Every "player safety" rule since 2000 in football that has merely legislated violence - the one thing that makes football unique and great - out of the game.

Just roll with the penalty yardage instead… then again, there needs to be something better in place than what we had in the Eagles/Redskins playoff game when the refs threatened to just give the TD to the Eagles because the Redskins kept purposely committing penalties

Rub of the green people. It's a great shot, but why didn't he pull the pin. Deal with it. It's what makes golf great.

Officials get publicly graded by both teams plus a neutral league supervisor with the average being their weekly grade, and can be fined and/or fired for poor performances. Mostly thinking NFL and NBA, but can apply to P4 football as well.

That's a great idea. Can we also stipulate that whoever it is doing the grading (presumably the head coach) be required to take an annual rules test and be required to score at least a 90?

CWS Regional home/away team selection.

No reason a 1 seed should not be the home team throughout the winners bracket.

You pull the pin on your approach shots?

Id move the slider on punt / kickoff return penalties from 85% to 15%. Whats the point of kick returns when 75% of successful returns are called back
