agreed. thats why i said underwhelming, not bad. its damn near impossible to actually be bad at LSU. thats what makes this year so wild

Hard to explain firing a coach right after a 15-0 season in this season where every school got fricked at some point by COVID.
He’s in the middle of a domestic investigation
His teams look sloppy af while he looks like he’s doing absolutely nothing to fix it nor does he seems like he cares if he fixes it.
His divorce set all this off.
Baton Rouge isn’t the place for him anymore.

I’m probably most out the loop poster ever, but is this for real? True frosh TE transferring out signals the end?

The reality set in tonight that this gif is not just confirmed, but it may even be worse than that.

LSU lost a ton so a step back was more than reasonable. The issue right now is starters are leaving at an alarming rate.

I keep seeing people to refer to O’s antics. What antics are they talking about? Did he get a divorce because he was fricking around on his wife? Do players really care about that?

He threw a temper tantrum on the sidelines on Saturday.

Apparently, good sex with a woman significantly younger leaves you incapable of performing your job to a satisfactory level. Its why all those frickers on the Rant are CEO's and company Presidents.

it's been quite awhile now, but I promise you it's not impossible. I've watched LSU be bad for about an 11 year stretch.

O was hired as a Dabo type and he's botched every hire besides Joe Brady. Hell he ran Dave Aranda off who saved his frickin job back in 2016.

She gets younger every time the rant posts about her. The truth is she's like 40 and he;s in his late 50s. That's pretty par for the course for a recently divorced guy like Orgeron. And who he may be screwing has little to do with why LSU is struggling this year. He made some really poor hires to replace two excellent coaches, lost an unprecedented number of players to the the draft, a handful more opted out to COVID, and here we are. Orgeron, as a CEO coach, cannot afford to whiff on hires, so he has work to do or he's toast. The Gilbert stuff and rumors of even more players leaving would not be helpful in him turning it around.

No he didn't. Aranda would still be coaching at LSU if Baylor didn't offer him

20 years since we've been this fricking bad.

He would be the head coach at UNLV. I like O but he's in way over bro.

He turned UNLV down in early December last year. Baylor didn't even offer until mid January. He was never going to UNLV. Whether or not Orgeron is in over his head is irrelevant to whether he pushed Aranda out the door. He didn't. Him saying the defense needs to get better last year wasn't him throwing Aranda under the bus either. It did need to get better, and it did by the end of the year.

Join the club. In 2013, UF had its worst season in 30 years, and I never thought we would have a season like that again, and then 2017 rolls around and kicks off with a bang with McElwains Shark photo incident

The rumors are that about half the team is leaving either by transfer portal or to the NFL even if late round or undrafted.
This is coming from a 3-7 team. The only glimmer of hope this season was that we got a lot of young players experience. Well, the rumors are that everyone is jumping ship.
