LSU lost their best player the nite before the game and was playing a dB who had just had surgery who was supposed to be out and they were playing a dB who had just transferred from Nicholls state two weeks before. They were forced to play 2 guys who had no business playing bc of BS opts outs and whatever happened to stingley. Utter fluke.
But some of the fans will say “this is who O is”. No we don’t judge him by the sqaud he just built, but by the covid and Injury ravaged team of the next year. I love it

Jay ward was ruled out before that game. When Sting was out all of a sudden jay ward has to play. He had just had surgery. State picks on ward for the game winning Td.

Probably so. LSU doesn’t exactly have a lot of depth on defense. Particularly in the secondary.
