Basically everyone is still butthurt because LSU lost to Miss State and Mizzou. Majority of posters never wanted Orgeron to begin with (myself included) and they want to use the Title IX scandal as a way to cut ties without paying him and get a new head coach.
Gilbert missed practice Monday and is rumored to be considering transferring. Other players are rumored to be considering transferring as well. Rumors about Myles Brennan injury ending his playing career. Ensminger is generally disliked, Pelini is hated. Orgeron has mismanaged the roster and can't hire good coordinators.
Recruiting class might take a hit and that will only make things worse. LSU is in complete rebuild mode right now and the Rant is just a giant rumor mill at this point.
This is just a basic summary.

We are LSU. This is unacceptable covid or no covid. We are supposed to be a championship caliber program, on the same level as Clemson and OSU. Something bad is going on inside the program and I believe it’s Title IX. Players know it and are trying to get out as fast as possible. Only logical explanation for Terrace Marshall suddenly opting out the week of the Bama game, after giving a speech to the team.

In 2013, UF had its worst season in 30 years, and I never thought we would have a season like that again, and then 2017 rolls around and kicks off with a bang with McElwains Shark photo incident
2013 - shite year but ravaged with injuries but whatever shake it off. Then 2014 happened and it was a total bust and embarrassment. It was some of the worst football just like 2013 but we barely made a bowl.
2017 was doomed before the Michigan opener and then that cluster frick happened.
Muschamp and McElwain

Perfect summary. Is all of it true? Possibly but not likely. Like anything else the truth is somewhere in the middle, which at the end of the day is still tough for an LSU fan.
We'll always have 2019 though.

It's a fascinating study in "what would you give for a national title?" Don't get me wrong, it's still worth it. But my lord, there are so many issues.

We might get a 30for30 made about LSU after all... just not in the light us LSU fans wanted

It's 100% worth it to be a dysfunctional embarrassment for the next 10 years... from experience.

This is all lining up for Orgeron returning to USC on Urban's staff in 2022.

I joked last year that some baw was wasted in New Orleans and stumbled into a voodoo shop in the summer of 2019. Traded an LSU national title for the world ending in 2020.
Now, i am convinced it’s true.

it doesn't help that a solid 15-20% of the rant is calling our team pussies and pining for the modern equivalent of Jacob Hester
for years it was "we have to close the talent gap with Bama" and that was a huge defense of O, but then we have to pay the bill for our sales pitches to those recruits on a team without a good structure or culture, without the coaching leadership to do it. have that happen with a once in a lifetime free transfer scenario and it's program-killing
there is a chance we have a roster # in the 60s next year. we won't recover from that for a cycle and a half of recruiting
*ETA: the fact that we have former players, many of whom had their shite pushed in by Bama their entire careers and won 0 natties, calling out a team that juts went undefeated and won the title, doesn't help

Urban Meyer spoke of program infrastucture on Saturday. LSU doesn't seem to have it.

We actually do when you get down to the bones: Moffitt, Shelly Mullenix, Marucci, Sharon Lewis, Sam Nader, Doug Aucoin...people that have been here since the Saban era and some longer.
It’s the team management that’s in the tank rn

urban is an expert b/c he left UF in shambles and their culture/infrastructure was terrible

It seems that he learned a lot from his Florida mistakes. Look at the shape he left Florida in and then look at Ohio State. He definitely evolved as a program runner.
