The greatest season by an NFL player is LaDainian Tomlinson 2006.
2300 yards from scrimmage and 31 TDs.
Oh and 2 passing TDs.
Would be better today too

I'd have to think long and hard as to whether I'd agree that it was the greatest ever by an NFL player, but it very well may be. 31 TDs from scrimmage is crazy. Only thing to compare with that stat would possibly be Jerry Rice's 23 TDs from scrimmage with a 12 game season. Catching 22 TDs in just 12 games was pretty spectacular, but he didn't have the dominating yardage totals like he had in a couple other season.
2013 Peyton Manning comes to mind. Even though he and the Broncos got trounced in the Super Bowl, 5,477 passing yards and 55 TD passes are come crazy awesome numbers. Only 10 INTs too, amongst 659 pass attempts.

Or Sammy Baugh in 1943 - led the league in passes completed and completion percentage (2nd in TDs and YPG), average yards per punt, and interceptions as a DB.

More crazy is that it was done on 65 catches. So 1 in every 3 receptions is a TD.

2.7 points per game. Holy shite.
And crazy that he had over 200 points two other times.

Richard Todd 1983 with the Jets and 1984 with the Saints. Threw 45 picks in 2 years. That's horrible.
