The funny part in this whole situation is what a sham the leagues "legal tampering" period is

The rules are so contradictory and confusing that roger Goodell himself must've penned them

No one does. PFT posted an article that quoted the rules and they were so retarded

You can't offer a player and you can't negotiate but you can discuss contract terms

You can't schedule free agent visits, and you can't contact any players that don't have agents. You can only talk to agents

I can't believe California's taxes. He would have been taxed at 12.3% by the state if he signed with San Diego.

For his games played in California.

Come on. Not even close to the same as Haynesworth. He went from a 4-3 defense in Tennessee to where Washington asked him to play nose. Total misfit. Plus he's lazy as hell.

Suh is the best 4-3 DT on the planet and makes the entire front 7 around him better. And I'd say that no matter where he was signing.

He's so underrated it's insane. One of the best pure pass rushers in the NFL.

You thought you used to hear about his thuggish behavior when he would kick Rodgers, just wait till he does to Brady. Bristol CT is going to explode.

Looks like the Lions offered $102MM over 6...58MM guaranteed, which was right around where I thought they would be.

That's a massive blow...They wbon't be able to keep Fairley either...someone will go full retard and throw a bunch of money at him.

Teryl Austin has his work cut out for him now.

This, though it makes sense. The money + living in Miami is pretty sweet.

He gets to chase Tom Brady twice a year, I guess.

Seems a bit much to me.

Agreed, nobody should be paid more than JJ Watt currently, especially a thug who is likely to miss games due to suspension. I would guess the 'Fins have something stipulated in his contract about that, but they still overpaid.

ETA: No doubt about the man's ability though.
