Knew you'd say something like that.
Carter essentially played every day for 2 straight months and he was hot garbage.
I'd take Frazier 100/100 times over that bum.
ETA: Chris Carter was also 100% responsible for CC Sabathia spending 2-3 weeks on the disabled list, or however long it was.

Tony Sipp never K'd 15 per 9. Their stuff is a little different, With Kahnle featuring a 98mph average fastball
Obviously I wasn't comparing their stuff, just pointing out the fact the relievers can and will lose it at any time.
ETA: and he doesn't have much of a track record, he was terrible last year and average 97 on the fastball

Splitting hairs when the other is striking out 150 times as well

June he has some consistent at bats and hit .243/.293/.457
Still not great and he was no Ozzie Smith in the field either but still
And yes I'm aware Frazier has been much better recently than his season line

I'm laughing over here that someone is defending having Chris Carter on their team.
God he's terrible
God he's terrible

Robertson for 1 year; Kahnle is pre-arb.
Chapman is not what he was.

No one is defending him, I never said he was good. I just don't think Frazier is significantly more of an improvement over what he could have given.
I'm also hoping the Yankees are not giving up C. Frazier, Torres, Adams, Mateo, or Rutherford.

Frazier and Torres are a different level of prospect than the others. Is Mateo even top 100?

He was preseason I believe, not sure if he was midseason

I wonder if any contender would take the Chapman contract off the Yankees' hands.

When I read that I thought you meant Clint Frazier at first and I panicked
Posted on 7/18/17 at 8:55 pm to BayouBengals03
Doesn't the contract guarantee the Yankees won't trade him this year?

I have no idea I just hate him
ETA: actually I don't hate him, I hate the Yankees for signing him

Watch Boston get him and it turns out Yankees were just trying to drive the price higher.

I hate that I'm going to have to monitor this shite past my bedtime

With Shreve, Holder, Warren, and Green the Yankees have some solid young bullpen options.

Source: Red Sox are not close to deal w White Sox for Todd Frazier. And as of tonight, they are not close to deal for another third baseman.

From someone with knowledge of #Yankees thought process, if deal with #whitesox goes down Mateo is almost certainly included.
