Dodgers needed good bullpen arms. Dodgers didn't get good bullpen arms. Definitely not an overreaction. Doing absolutely nothing will cost the Dodgers the World Series this year. They completely blew it.

Everybody overreacts. Astros have already got the WS clinched.

Yankees are done all of a sudden. Dodgers are toast.

If you didn't make a decent trade deadline move the previous 4 months are irrelevant and you suck.

It's baseball. Anything can happen in the playoffs. Nothing is a lock. Astros may have solidified their division but nothing is a given. Their pen is still lackluster.

My man... your Cardinals won 83 games in 2006 and won the World Series.

Granted, the Astros look good on paper already before they got Greinke but a bad game in the playoffs can shift the momentum. I don't see them losing the AL West at this point but it will be fun to see how it plays out in October.

It pains me to even admit that. Damn Cardinals black magic.

Is it just me or did the Phillies just load up on mediocrity?

now that rosters are mostly set, I'll say this...these damn playoffs are going to be epic.

if we can end up with an NLCS of LA vs Atl and an ALCS of NYY vs Houston, man oh man.

Atl vs Chicago
LA vs Washington

Hou vs Cleveland
NYY vs Minnesota

That should be extremely entertaining.

Go look at that 2006 team

rolen, edmonds, pujols, molina,waino, carpenter,etc

That's a pretty good team, no matter the record.

I was curious and went to look. The lineup was definitely solid. That starting pitching was dogshit outside of Carpenter though lol.

Stunning: The Atlanta Braves are paying the entire remaining salary of #SFGiants reliever Mark Melancon, who earns $14 million this year and $14 million in 2020 .
I didn't see this yesterday

Braves were in on Zack Greinke Trade conversations, but it was just too pricey, and too much risk on an older pitcher. He fits better in Houston budget.
