I think the Giants mess this up and never end up trading Bumgarner
Definitely a possibility. Last few trade proposals I have seen for them for the Braves have been immediate hang-ups if I am Atlanta...

Yankees need to trade Happ and Loiasaga for Stroman

@ScottyMitchTSN
An interesting tidbit I’ve heard is both the Yankees and Twins have inquired about a Stroman/Giles package. I’m sure Ross Atkins would prefer to maximize the returns separately, however. #BlueJays

If Yanks got Giles he would be used to give other guys a day off, much like Cessa currently. I'm hoping Holder figures things out and can get back up like Green did

 In the strongest sign yet of which way they are leaning before the trade deadline, the Mets have engaged the Red Sox on Zack Wheeler, The Post has learned.

The talks were described as in the early stages and that Boston is not the only club with whom the Mets are discussing Wheeler.

Article recently he said that the birth of his first child has relaxed him, that baseball no longer is the most important thing now. Maybe he has matured a bit?

I'm more than willing to see him go to a contender and test that theory.

Me too, just not the Yanks

Although he has been fantastic this year, although he hasn't faced Houston, has a 5.68 ERA vs Sox in 6.1 innings, a 0.00 ERA against Yanks in 2.1 innings and a 3.00 ERA against the Twins in 3 innings.

The #Indians are willing to listen to offers for Trevor Bauer

I mean I'm sure they're willing to "listen" and see if some desperate team blows them away with an absurd offer. But they're sitting in the 2nd wild card spot and 5.5 back of Minnesota so it would seem unlikely.

Cleveland won't be able to sign him because they're cheap. Might as well get something for him. Trade Hand as well....

Cleveland still needs outfielders. Urban legend has it that Clint Frazier looks good in a Cleveland uni

The Braves would be happy to give them Ender Inciarte and Adam Duvall (who is currently mashing in AAA btw)
