Yeah but the Blue Jays are obviously in sell mode while the Mets think they are contending for the East. Shoulda moved Thor first to set the market but now everybody is screwed.

Giving up the number 1 prospect is probably a bit of a stretch but with the amount of control and how good and young he is I wouldn’t mind giving up a good bit for Vasquez.

While conspiracy theories are fun to speculate on, I find it hard to believe the Blue Jays didn't want to maximize their return on Stroman. That's just bad business if the let personal feelings affect the trade.

Seems to be a lot of smoke with him and the astros. Which should be interesting considering his past with cole and bregman
