Seems to be a lot of smoke with him and the astros. Which should be interesting considering his past with cole and bregman

This is also the same team that had a strong stance against domestic violence yet they acquired Roberto Osuna. Whatever it takes to win

Isn’t that the point of sports teams?

The Rangers employed a fella that went to jail for manslaughter

I believe the point that my colleague is making is that the Astros made s public stance that was staunchly anti domestic violence when it was easy to do so, only to immediately walk back on that stance the very first time they were presented with a player who was legitimately good

At least the Rangers never made a public stance that was staunchly anti killing people

and I dont either

I openly posted about on here wishing the Dodgers made the move the astros made for osuna. I am very convinced all teams openly hide shite under the wraps. Gene kapler did it for the Dodgers.

I knew you would get the point.

It's weird how being on the same team changes things and opinions of people. I'm sure Cole and Bregman would be just fine once Bauer donned an Astros uniform

Reds were heavily linked to Bauer this offseason. They really like him.

“Inquiring” doesn’t necessarily mean they are making a run at him, but probably doing their due diligence and checking in again.

The trade market is finally beginning to unclog. Trevor Bauer is very much in play, and the Cleveland Indians, rival executives tell ESPN, seem motivated to move him soon. Madison Bumgarner remains available, according to sources. And interest in Robbie Ray has picked up as well.

Summing up today...

Giants are engaged on Bumgarner

Giants are unlikely to trade Bumgarner

But they might still trade Bumgarner

Cleveland will hold on to Bauer unless blown away

Cleveland is listening to offers on Bauer

It's likely that Bauer will be traded

But wait. Back it up

What I hear on Bumgarner, #SFGiants

are listening because it is the right thing to do to have full information, but only a huge return would get them to even consider. Remains more likely he stays, but (as always) matters are fluid as the tick-tock of deadlines make teams act

I always love the hedging, “fluid situation”, “doubtful doesn’t mean 100%”

What happened with the Osuna thing again? Remind me.
