I honestly won’t be surprised if Minor isn’t moved.
The market for SP’s isn’t deep if Thor and Bum aren’t moving that gives Texas even more bargaining power and I would be surprised if anyone acted. Rangers got a mid top 10 prospect from LA for Darvish, who wasn’t having a good year and whom was a rental. With another year of control with Minor at only $10 mil I expect the asking price to be too high to match.
Only real destination I see is Atlanta solely because of their logjam of prospect pitching and because Minor played there previously.
I’m also really starting to think Mazara gets traded.

quote:Scrubb is an intriguing prospect. He's having a breakout season at AA. He's 24 and strictly a reliever, but I think he makes the majors as a middle reliver, possibly as early as a year from now.
Lol, yall got some scrubb

A little more on Scrubb:
quote:
Andre Scrubb, 24, is currently in Double-A with the Tulsa Drillers. He’s appeared in 29 games this season, with 27 of them being out of the bullpen. He’s 6-1 with a 2.29 ERA and 1.22 WHIP. In 47 2/3 innings he has 56 strikeouts, and is holding opponents to a .200 average.
Over the course of his minor-league career, he’s appeared in 108 games. He’s gone 21-6 with an ERA of 2.45. In 175 innings, he has 201 strikeouts and a WHIP of 1.25.

An option #Mets are exploring, per sources: Trading Syndergaard and signing Wheeler to an extension. NYM would benefit from return for Syndergaard while keeping Wheeler, a quality starting pitcher who otherwise would depart in free agency. @TheAthleticMLB

Rival evaluators say they believe the Mets are fully intent on dealing Noah Syndergaard before the trade deadline. "It's beyond listening," said one. "They want to move him."

The Giants have been the most intriguing team in the Majors for the past few weeks, and if their incredible run continues this weekend in San Diego, things could get even more interesting.
According to a source with knowledge of the team’s plans, the Giants are poised to become buyers if they’re still in the thick of the National League Wild Card race come Monday, and it’s all but certain ace lefty Madison Bumgarner will not be traded, regardless of how the weekend goes.
