Lost in this is what the Marlins got. Three fringe MiLB arms and a dump of Morse's salary for 8 months of Latos. I can't decide if that's good or bad.

They saved 10+ million dollars. If any of those prospects even become a decent bull pen arm, it would just be icing on the cake in their situation. It was a solid move for the off season... it's just that no one cares as they aren't relevant right now.

I loved their Tulo trade. People talk about the Cargos...Tulo is better than those guys.
if they get Price, clear wild card favorites and at least some threat to win that division.
I think Alex A is a pretty good GM. But he effed up that Dickey trade so badly, so terribly badly, that he may not overcome it. That may be the worst trade in MLB this century.
The worst GM is in Seattle; the next worst is in Boston (although his drafting probably lifts him from that spot).

I also have to give kudos to Gibbons for batting Tulo first -- granted they don't have virtually anyone else (I thought they may put Martin at top)
