They have the means and depth to withstand trading more prospects to get another top starter in there.
What would an Aaron Sanchez plus Alford net?
Or just Alford alone?
Pentecost, Pompey and Reid-Foley
I just want them to completely say, "frick it," and go get another arm

Norris really needs some seasoning. He has no control right now. He has the stuff to be a really good high end SP, but he has to cut down on walks first.

San Diego is on the clock.
It would be really interesting to see if they go after one of Ross or Cashner. One would have to think even if teams are outbidding each other, Sanchez plus one of those guys logically should net them Ross.
