I'm very curious how Walt does being the seller. He's always been the buyer.
I wish we could trade GM's for the week. Jocketty was a master at getting deals done for star players.

Finnegan is ok, I'm just not sure how I feel about short high effort guys. There is some anecdotal evidence that these sort of guys coming out of college are undervalued, but in our situation I'd like a high ceiling guy. I also would like some sort of hitting prospect. We haven't had a hitting prospect worth much since Jay Bruce.

John Lamb 25 years old in AAA is the only prospect I see mentioned so far.

The Nats won the first half but are 10-18 this half and 2 games above .500 overall.

It sucks that it comes to this. I've been a Reds fan for 37 years, and Cueto was the best homegrown starting pitcher we've had in my fandom. I hope we got a decent return, but I don't expect it.
