Can the MLB Network end the crappy blackout rules on the streaming app?

those are MLB blackout rules for everyone, now just the app.
but they are possibly the dumbest blackout rules in the history of television.

they just hit their highest attendance numbers in nearly a decade
Sunday Night Baseball on ESPN saw it's highest TV ratings in years
they just had their highest ratings ever on streaming platforms
and the World Series beat the NBA Finals in TV ratings last year as well.

sounds like a lot more than "nobody" is watching

Aside from whatever national deal they can ink for a game of the week. They need to let each team pursue big regional packages. If it’s not the Astros or LSU I don’t really watch.

At this point, give me a MLB streaming service. I’ll pay for a service as long as I can watch any/every game that I want.

ESPN fumbled hard going all in on hot takes and football. I think baseball and hockey are on the rise, and if TNT was smart give us a nightly baseball show similar to Inside the NBA. They’re pregame on TBS with Pedro, Rollins and Ortiz is pretty solid already

ESPN baseball coverage went to ca ca when they got rid of Jon Miller and Joe Morgan and inserted Karl Ravech and Eduardo Perez. Just terrible coverage.

My take exactly, baseball thrives on the regional level much more than nationally - lean into that.

Exactly and following that up with the thoroughly unlikeable Buster Olny as well it's like they were trying to drive away what audience they did have.

MLB network had games most nights I believe; usually a live late game so west coast teams.

I usually watch for my fantasy team pitchers. Its hard to follow the Astros when they are blacked out every time they came on MLB.

The NBA is as strong financially as it has ever been yet people say it's dying too.

The reality is similar to the NBA, people are caring less about both sports. Just like NASCAR when people kept denying it and finally accepted but blamed being woke lol.

The reality is they're not as exciting
