UGA fans are back to back national champions but remarkably they're even better at revisionist history.

Please explain how Justin Fields was actually a perfectly developed pro-style QB as a freshman

No one said this. This is where your revisionist history comes in. Your assertion Justin Fields couldn't or wouldn't have been an outstanding quarterback at UGA is also laughable. His numbers wouldn't have been what they were at Ohio State but UGA would have been a better team with him over Fromm in 2019-20.

And then after that, please explain how Kirby Smart actually made Fields leave.

I'm not saying Kirby was wrong because all coaches do this but he misled about the opportunities he would get as a freshman. It's on Fields for not seeing through that BS given they had a returning starter with three years of eligibility who had just let them to overtime in a national title game. Again Kirby didn't do anything wrong in his handling of Fields imo and it was mostly UGA fans who were pissed at him at the time. Especially when Fromm started to struggle.

I just realized the Bears cut Nathan Peterman today. Let's everyone know that these people cannot really evaluate talent. Why is Peterman still getting opportunities in this League( nothing to do with Kap)? Young players like Aqeel Glass can't get out of mini camp & get a few preseason snaps.

Yes. And the point is they could have improved the team by keeping Trubisky and drafting someone other than fields.

The best QB on Ohio St’s roster in the last 50 years didn’t even start a game for Ohio St because he wasn’t “good” enough to be first string. This should tell you all you need to know about the type of NFL QB prospect they produce.

No coach in their right mind would guarantee a starting job to a freshman who’s accomplished nothing over a QB who had just come off a great season and had played in a National Championship

He still picked the wrong QB. Regardless of how you defend the situation.

They do a great job of producing simplified spread offenses that rely on elite OL & WRs that shred college defenses with an athletic QB

Not all college defenses. The slow big 10 defenses.

They were the model franchise before Fields? Cut the guy some slack.

He's a QB who just said that he has too much information , blamed his coaches for that, and has concluded that the solution is to stop thinking and start playing on instinct.

I get it. He's black. You want him to succeed.

But, QBs of all colors have to be able to process info quickly, make decisions quickly, and those decisions generally have to be good. It's just the way it is.

Don't freak out. There's tons of white QBs who weren't able to do that either.

I thought fields would be much better than this. I wasn't expecting a superstar, but I thought he'd be a pretty good player. I was way off lol
