You think what Mintz did shows loyalty?? Lol. He has to be a complete dumb frick to do what he did. It’s like being married & thinking it’s ok to text your ex when her dog dies.
Portnoy had mintz on auto-renew. He pays his trips to travel to sporting events to produce irrelevant content. Mintz’s sole purpose is to be lovingly mocked. Obliviously, of course. But that is what makes it funny, he has no clue.
Dude was working a $30k job in local radio & now is working in nyc at one of the biggest sports media companies in the world. He has a dream job. Portnoy doesn’t owe him any more loyalty

If Dave and Erika were smart, they would have him spend every Saturday and Sunday this Fall at the two L’Auberge Sportsbooks interacting with customers and then hustling their Sportsbook App on every local Louisiana and Tennessee sports radio show.
I am sure T-Bob and others would drool all over him (because they are all envious of his position) and let him take over a segment.
He made himself a piece of content - easy to get multiple ROI from his salary + expenses with just one VIP bettor keeping all their action with Barstool because they feel like they can text Mintzy or get a Follow on Twitter from him.

That seems like a good and reasonable idea. The issue is that they hired him to have those kinds of ideas and execute them not for them to send him out on assignment.
