It’s incredible. They totally abandoned the very identity of their offense. There weren’t many designed runs with Lamar, either.

Lamar has improved as a passer, but the coaches should not have pinned the entire offense on his arm. I don’t think Harbaugh or anyone else in that organization will ever be able to justify, or even explain, the reasoning behind that atrocious game plan.

They panicked. The Chiefs got up early, and the Ravens started pressing the majority of the game.

The end result is that the Chiefs only scored 17 points, but the Ravens played like they were down by two touchdowns the entire game.

They went in with the mindset to leave it all in Lamar's hands...literally.

Bills abandoned their run game, lost to KC. Ravens abandoned theirs, lost to KC. Either they’re seeing something that think they can exploit and can’t, or they’re just worried about a shootout, which makes no sense - that hasn’t been KC’s identity at all this year. Just weird Buffalo and Baltimore both lost and abandoned their run games in the process.

And there was really no reason to do so. They abandoned the run early when there was still plenty of time. It’s not like they were down three touchdowns or something.

This stat proves that the Ravens should trade Lamar. I read that somewhere today.

Which is insane considering their defense played a good game. The Chiefs only crossed the 50 twice in the second half, they punted from the Baltimore 48 and then the last pass that sealed the game. There was absolutely no reason to panic

The most inexcusable part is the Chiefs are a top 5-10 pass defense but somewhere around bottom 10 in rush defense

They gave their lead RB 3 carries

3 CARRIES

Absolute clown coaching

Consider that the Ravens may have had big leads early in run heavy games and were playing catch-up when the run was featured less often.

Bills def didn’t abandon their run game. They simply started getting stuffed in the 2nd half

Pretty sure the KC game was one of the higher rushing games the bills had all season from an attempts standpoint

100% this! The Chiefs controlled the ball so much in the first half, the Ravens' offense never got into the flow of the game. On top of that, Lamar just played bad.

This. If they stick to their gameplan from the entire season they win. Chiefs didn't score many points.

A 10 point deficit at half is not a magnitude that warrants changes to the ideal playcalling balance

In the 2nd half the Ravens ran 33 plays with their offense

Jackson ran or threw on 30 of those 33

It’s no wonder the KC defense was able to stay locked in, that's just inexcusable

He never has been in the playoffs. That being said, the horrible playcalling and the Flowers fumble at the goal line didn't do him any favors.
