Does anyone else find it really creepy to know this much about a football coach's personal life, or where he's shopping?

There's nothing new about jocks and coaches messing around, but the photos and publicity are new. And creepy.

Why? He didn't do anything illegal and Russini wasn't a team employee. So its not an employment problem, its a personal family issue between Vrabel and his wife.

You really think the Patriots are going to take some moral high ground on this kind of issue when their team owner himself previously got busted in a prostitution sting at a rub and tug massage parlor?

Zero chance they were firing a coach who just came off a Super Bowl appearance in year one for cheating on his wife. Because not only would they be running off a coach that's had immediate success, but there's a good chance they'd end up on the hook for paying his buyout since it would probably be a stretch to claim this was a legitimate "fired with cause" situation.

His boss is one of the biggest poon hounds ever

Does anyone think Payton was cracking also? She had some “exclusive” stories when he first got to Denver.

I guess moral clauses don't exist or are enforced anymore.

I hope his soon to be ex wife makes his life miserable.

Moral clauses are used to get out of contracts the team doesn’t want to be in. They are built to give teams to freedom to take action if they want and remove the contractual guarantees, but they are no some auto fire trigger built into contracts

If Vrabel was in year 4 of a disappointing team build, the conversation might be different, but given the season he just had, you had to be truly foolish to think the pats were firing him for this

Kraft is his boss. The man understands the need for a touch of another woman.

Some of the humiliation ritual was probably forced on him by his wife.
