He is the anointed one! Tom Osborne favorite and will not fired him for any reason!

Nebraska should have never gone away from the option.

There is no comparison in talent between what Riley inherited vs what Riley left. frick that guy. In season practice was basically optional by accounts while he was here.

Scott’s got a lot to prove, seems like if we shore up being our own worst enemy we are a team with a winning record. But that falls on Scott

Hard to believe they were ranked number one 20 years ago and haven’t done anything since

Pretty much anyone with a pulse knew that ranking wasn't warranted at all, that was sports writers just trying to overhype a team.

The #1 ranking to start 2000 was justified due to the performance of the 99 team. A few bad turnovers against Texas cost them a shot to play for the title and the D was good enough to stand a chance against FSU.

I mean...their only losses that season were to the eventual national champions and very solid Kansas State team that finished the season 11-3. They dominated just about every other team they played that year.

Anybody that doesn't realize that Osborne's Huskers teams weren't dirtier than hell.....well, you just have your head in the sand.

Mike Riley recruiting at Nebraska was a joke. He set that program back like 10 years.

The problem was Pelini's teams got crushed in every big game and he has the emotional intelligence of a toddler. Solich had a rough year in 2002 but in general brought respect to the program and maintained it's identity. Once Nebraska lost its identity in 2004 the program was dead.

Hell, Bo Pelini was 62-27 there. The people making the decisions at Nebraska are idiots. They get worse with each hire/fire
