Damn, that man had a whole locker room crying. That was an awesome speech.

Glad he acknowledged the guys that stuck around.

Wish he called out half the team that quit on them and left them hanging.

That would be a stupid move. Why do that? He understands what happened and the reasons behind it. He's not going to tell a bunch of players that got royally fricked because of one guy's injury that they shouldn't watch out for themselves.

CFB fans really are the dumbest people alive. I'm convinced of it. Main reason why the media has been able to destroy the sport while idiots cheer it on.

100%. part of it is the nature of the sport and what it forces fans to talk about. part of it is the regionality. just creates so many poor faith arguments.

100%

The media and committees make changes that fans don’t like, then come up with new changes to fix their frick ups, which fans ultimately don’t like either, THEN they offer new changes which the fans then gobble down like a seasoned whore.

It’s more fun to watch everyone ultimately lose their minds over how the game is being changed than it is to watch the actual sport.

The best part is all the bitching and moaning…and then everyone tunes in to watch.

LNCH and many on this board says FSU is done and they wouldn’t be surprised if they tank completely next season all due to the orange bowl and their culture

It really is unsettling.

I'm not sure if this is sarcasm but if so I might need a patented spreadsheet to see the data which supports your conclusions.

So a 90 second speech should be weighed more heavily than what you also want me to believe was the biggest opt out spree in history?

Fun words, but clearly just words at the end of the day

a bunch of old pompous assholes denied them a once in a lifetime dream trip to California to play in the Rose Bowl with a chance to go toe to toe with #1

yet they gave it to Alabama, a team that had already lost this season and has everything handed to them and the media kissing their arse every year

dude, it’s an up and coming program he’s building from the ground up that he had to use the transfer portal to fill the roster to compete with the blue bloods who have years of top ranked recruiting classes behind them

and it worked, he got them to play together, fight through adversity and grow as a team and win every game in front of them only to have it yanked out from under them.

it’s not fair to compare them to the culture and depth of Alabama and Georgia because they aren’t there yet, but they still competed and deserved a chance at the playoffs as an undefeated P5 champion

He should have apologized for all the mercenaries that he recruited and quit on them.

How dare they recruit one year studs out of the transfer portal to try to take on Alabama, Georgia and Michigan. Who the frick do they think they are?!

I’ve gained a ton of respect for Norvell over the past few weeks.

The live camera of the FSU room when the selection committee picked Bama tells you all you need to know. He’s sitting down, he dips his head for half a second and then immediately stands up in front of the room to address his men.

He had every right to sit and sulk and let his players do the same and he chose to lead.
