I really think Weber State might win tonight against Xavier as well.

I think they have a chance yeah

I made a post in this thread I believe on why it was absolutely idiotic to take Michigan state to the final four
Posted on 3/18/16 at 4:11 pm to TulaneUVA
I'm sure you thought you guys would beat them the last two years too

I usually don't fall for the yearly MSU love, but I just couldn't find a team I liked to beat them in their region.
So it of course bites me the hardest this year

lol easy to say now.
If Kansas loses in the Sweet 16, was it stupid to have them?

people calling it biggest upset, but for pinnacle:

Well yeah, I don't think anyone in this thread actually thought it was the biggest upset in history by the numbers.

Many of the media people on twitter trying to make the claim.

I'm pretty sure Norfolk was getting 5 more points. That's pretty substantial.

Im trying to think of a 2 seed that lost in the first round that was thought of more as a contender. No one actually thought those Duke, Mizzou, Iowa state teams were going to win it all.

We had at least a couple people in my pool that year that had Missouri winning it all.

Last year with a healthy mike Anderson, I would have said yes. After he didn't show up, I knew our fate.
The first year I knew we had a strong chance of losing.
This prediction had nothing to do with UVA. I had MSU losing to Syracuse

There was just too much MSU love, so it was strategic to pick against them. Makes your bracket stand out if you're right

Guess it was. I was wrong.

I said it like two days ago???
If you read the post in the thread I was referencing, I say that Kansas is probably in the same boat but that I haven't looked into it as much because I was picking them anyways. I'd assume that, yes, Kansas was a bad value pick
Any other concerns?

Is anyone making an OU thread or what?

So the same logic picking against Kansas in the South should be applied...
I'm cool with the argument that Kansas is a bit better than Michigan State (even though they lost to them this season), but it's not substantial enough for the logic to be different.
Plus, I think Kansas' draw in their first three games is more difficult than Michigan State's.
