Still don't understand what UF and Kansas were doing on the final possession respectively...

Kansas runs their Big out to 3 point land and vacated the Paint so St. Johns point, can drive for an easy game winning layup and UF passes the ball under the basket to let time expire with no shot taken.

Alabama is a nightmare draw in the tournament. You never know when they're going to come out and hit 20 threes. If you don't score at least 80 points, you have no chance.

Made even worse when 'Bama decides to have their best rebounding game of the season while also having a good shooting night.

Looked at taking my son to the game in Houston Thursday. Nosebleed Tickets $700 each. Cool $18k for us to sit in row 1. lol. I’ll grab it in 4k for free.

#2 UConn vs #3 Michigan State, 8:45 PM, CBS

The 1990s called and it wants its bracket back. Iowa had at least one S16 in the 90s too. I remember them beating Arkansas in the late 90s to advance.

Probably the 1998-1999 season. The UCONN team that upset Duke in the final beat Iowa in the sweet 16 that year.

That was Iowas first since 88. Dean Oliver dropped a full court behind back bounce pass in mid air.

They almost beat Kentucky in like 96 or 97 as an 8 seed where they got boned with a bad seed—2nd place big ten team, no conf tourney, 21-9 and 12-6 in big ten with OOC losses to LSU and Cal at a poor showing in Maui and @Iowa State who was highly ranked, led by Kelvin Cato and Coach Tim Floyd.

Iowa had some dogs on that team, mainly AA PG Andre woolridge, who was a 20ppg, 6apg stud. That team was a 6-7 seed and got screwed. Gave Kentucky all they could handle and played them closer than anyone else until Arizona beat them in the title.

Girls tournament is hilarious. LSU doubled up opponents in first 2 rounds and UCONN about to be up 50 on 9 seed Syracuse in R32 AT HALFTIME

They may as well start at the Sweet 16 with just the 1-4 seeds competing. There’s so much disparity between the upper echelon and everyone else

Yep

There are less than 10 “good” teams and those 10 teams will beat the other 200 in D1 by double digits
