The system is not perfect, but saying the system and not home and neighborhood culture is the primary causation of the struggles of the American lower class and minority communities is completely false.
Where did I say that? I have been very vocal on here about how people create their own individual struggles by making poor decisions.

The point of my post was not to say that the system was only in place to help whites, I really don't know why you took it as that either, but it was to say just be happy that there is a system that you can take advantage of in succeeding.

I know we have engaged in debate in the past generally with a pretty good understanding of one another's stance. I think the Mastermind and SS might have warped how I viewed that. My bad Monty.

The owner of the N.Y.Football Giants said that he was swamped with messages from season ticket holders telling him not to sign CK. THis is the same N.Y.C. that is one of the most liberal cities in the country. So if those fans do not want him, how can it be racist?

He's better than alot of the qbs that are currently on rosters, but some organizations feel that he isn't better than the baggage he brings.

The only people purporting it to be racist are also the only ones still in Kaep's corner. I think the vast majority of people have no qualm with his right to protest. It is simply the hypocrisy he surrounded himself with, and the fact that he doubled down on said hypocrisy. You don't protest oppression while wearing a Castro shirt and then laud praises on the man as a leader to defend the shirt. The second he did that his protest lost all validity to any non-biased observer.

I think Kaep does a lot of good and does genuinely have a good heart. I just think he got ahold of some good splittail that has clouded his mind and he is buying everything she is feeding him without second thought.

How do you know what fans emailed the ownership and if they are racist or not?

so he is mad because he protested the anthem and the flag, which the military is sworn to defend the rights of a country built on free speech and peaceful protest.
got it.
didnt know Kap said f the military too.

So what if he's angry about it? Is he stopping dumbass from kneeling? Dumbass engages in his speech and T-Bird engages in his? No irony at all.

I bet you don't even realize your free speech is only protected from government actions, not the lawful criticisms and other responses of private citizens.

Convenient bullshite business excuse.. "you don't fit our culture" then they go an hire the VPs under-equalified son.

he's better than every 3rd stringer on a roster and Id say 99% of the #2s. This is objective

What planet do you live on? Life isnt fair and anyone that cries about it is wasting thier own time. Again its a business. If they want to hire the vp's underqualified son, so be it thats business. Kaep is not starting material right now so no team wants to deal with hos controversial bs just to have a back up or third string qb. And the world will keep moving.

Just like all things in life, if Kaepernick's talent outweighed his off the field issues, he'd be on a team right now.

It's not about forgiveness it's about seeking employment. Mike faced the obstacles of a convicted felon being permitted back into the NFL and cleaned up his shiit and guess what? He was signed by a team and played football. Colin is not employed by a football team, he's made tons of controversial remarks and stupidly opted out of his San Fran contract and he has the Afro hair. Mike Vick had cornrows then but removed them and guess what? It worked and he was signed by an NFL team so he has a point there and shouldn't backtrack.

I'm not signing a guy that makes me lose a portion of my loyal fan base. End of story.

Why is this a story? If I was McDonald's, then I wouldn't want a guy working for me if he told people that they were evil for eating meat.

Football is an American sport with many people that are proud of this country. We aren't perfect but it can be and is much worse in many places. Plus he defends dictators like Castro so he comes off as dumb. You don't offend your fan base and expect to get a job.

I work with many construction and oil & gas projects. If I said that all rednecks were idiots, then I'd hope that I'd never find another job in the industry. I bit the hand of the people that work hard and help me every day.

He wanted attention and he got it. I want my fans to stay loyal and some of them would be offended. It isn't worth an extra win or two.

It's a story because a QB who's clearly better than than 12 other starting QBs for the 2017 season is currently unemployed because he opted out of his San Fran contract.

He offends customers. It's a business. Do your job or don't work. You can't offend customers in large amounts in any business.

Amen
Since when did "a black thing" mean being unpatriotic to a country that has allowed you to make millions playing a game.

That's my entire point brah bc I work in corporate America and that's the bottom line in any free market business, he shouldn't have opted out of the contract because he was clearly better than Blaine Gabbert but apparently he was advised it was the best decision. Maybe it will be when a starter for the poorly-led bottom dwellers incurs a season-ending injury and Kap gets the call but that's an unpredictable call could be anyone but for now considering how good he is relative to other curtain-jerkers it's a conglomerate of the majority of teams setting up their QB lineups already and his controversial antics as well. Don't get me wrong it isn't a conspiracy against Kap but is in conformity with their respective visions for the teams, Kap just doesn't fit those visions at this team hence why he shouldn't have opted out.

I get what you're saying but it's just so simple. I can't hire a guy that makes me lose customers.

It's not worth the risk of they hire him because you don't know what he'll do. Even if he did nothing, then they'll lose fans. If you pass on him, then you're not in the spotlight since everyone did it.
