Teammates probably don't matter like they used to.

Much like all of professional sports, fans are really just cheering for the uniforms now instead of the players occupying the uniform.

What changed? He announced that he was going to Indiana before the semifinals were even played.

That typically means AFTER the season. Not a week before the national championship, bringing the entire playbook with him. That's crap and honestly might be the key to getting alllllll of this crap we've watched the last few years reigned in as it is just too much.

Dude is probably a ‘lifelong’ Dodgers, Thunder, and Chiefs fan. He may even post here

"Guys, isn't college football great now? We get to crown a REAL CHAMPION, not some loser 'school' like BYU or Georgia Tech that just got lucky! And those hard-working players are finally compensated for their groundbreaking ball-tossing and all-around good citizenship!"

Give the "Me Generation" tons of money and let them do nothing in free time no responsibility College but play foosball?

What could go wrong with such sage and wise 18-22 year olds? Maybe some 90s NBA Lottery picks can mentor them?

The addition of Schott could give the Hoosiers an advantage as the freshman from Indiana knows the Miami playbook, as well as the team’s signals.
If I was Miami and we won, he wouldn’t be invited to the victory celebration and wouldn’t be getting a ring

Going to be hard to do that and still pretend like they care about academics at all considering spring semester classes will be in session already. LSU started today, as I’m sure many other schools did.

They need to start the playoffs earlier, quit giving a shite about the bowls wanting to host games on NYE/NYD, and get the championship game over with the first Monday in January. Then open the portal the day after the title game. Or get rid of the January portal window and only have a window opening in May

And that does diminish the sport a lot to me. Not many college players looking to stick to it for 3-4 years at one school. School pride doesn't exist. With coaches nor players. We know it's a business, but at least try to fake it a little...

Just another small nail in the eventual coffin.
