5 times bigger than New York

Sending 20 year olds with millions of dollars to Mexico city is a brilliant idea.

Just wondering if they'd use barbwire to separate the different classes of people in the arena like they do for their other stadiums.

There are too many teams in the NBA now.

I can't imagine too many players wanting to live in Mexico for majority of the year
Not to mention their families either

Seattle deserves a team, that was one of the best home environments in sports
Las Vegas seems to be a destination as well

I think they should expand to like 60 teams and have a 3 tier pro/rel setup.

If you have money Mexico City can be a great place to live. There are parts of Mexico City that rival Beverly Hills, Midtown Manhattan, and the Mag Mile and Gold Coast in Chicago.

I'd like to see how the NBA is going to keep Cartels from getting their hands on NBA games, and a franchise there.

Which is worse in your opinion? Getting car jacked and shot in NOLA, or getting your family kidnapped, skinned alive, and hung from an overpass for all to see in Mexico.

It’s kind of wild how Mexico City is portrayed as this dingy, poverty ridden place (because it mostly is), yet there are some super nice areas there. It’s a really great city, overall, they are just unfortunately located in Mexico, where the government is horrible.

As long as you like electrified razor wire on top of the
12 foot concrete walls surrounding your compound.

That’s one of the reasons people don’t associate Latin America with nice neighborhoods.. you can’t see the houses

Yeah, remember the Vancouver experiment? Mexico City will be much worse.

Canada had exchange rate issues amongst other things in the 90s but it was stable.

Mexico? Less so. This is just a really bad idea waiting to happen.

MF-ing this. It's a nice city, depending on location.

Mexico City is safer than NOLA, southside of Chicago, and Philly. It is no different than NYC or LA.
