there are very very few events i would pay $100 or more to get into, nascar racing is definitely not one of them.

i value my money so i must get that money back in entertainment value and just getting a headache from open exhaust cars going around in circles aint it.

they made it too safe so now its just boring, very few crashes, very little difference in speeds so it has gotten very boring

you just don't care about the drivers enough. I understand. They're hard to care about

It's a little chilly but not miserable.

When Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr retired, it marked the end of NASCAR.

Dale Jr was arse.
NASCAR never ended..like others have said, it's going back to a regional sport like it was before the mid 2000s.

It was about 45-50 % full. That’s close to 100k people in stands not including the infield.

Yes it was cold. Unless you were in the sun.

Tickets could have been purchased for as cheap as $79. Parking is free. You can bring your own food and drink into the stands. For a day it is cheaper than an NFL game, most college football, and many other major sporting events.

If you don’t care for NASCAR that’s fine but people saying that it’s too expensive is a poor excuse.

I can get into most Saints and LSU games for a lot cheaper than $79.

Maybe if they put the rules back like it used to be then that would help.

Hard to believe they used to pack the place, including the grandstands on the back stretch.

No you aren’t. And you aren’t bringing in food and drinks either. Like Fred said, if you don’t care for nascar fine. Just don’t talk out of your arse

Go drive a car 200 miles an hour with cars two feet on either side and in front and back of you and then come back and tell us it's more boring than the WNBA and water polo.
