The Saints haven't drafted a QB in the first round since Archie Manning

All you need to watch is the LSU tape to question dart. Any NFL QB should have been able to carve up LSUs shite safeties

With the Saints situation there’s no avenue to take the usual advantage of a rookie QB deal given the constraints of their other cap commitments, but it is possibly their only path out of that constant state of can kicking. Cheap QB can help you pay down the “cap debt” they essentially have to finally reset if they had any interest in doing so

That being said, making that bet on Jaxson dart would be quite the move

I would rather QB from Louisville much later in draft.
