@Brett_McMurphy

73% of college ADs told @ActionNetworkHQ they would not consider hiring Urban Meyer if they needed a coach in 2022. “Not in a million years,” one Power 5 AD said. I contacted 65 of 130 FBS ADs. Group of 5 ADs more willing to hire Meyer (39%) than P5 ADs (15%)

Predicting he'll be back in the studio after a year off.

95% of that 73% know that Urban Meyer would laugh at them...

So better to say we do not want to go to the dance with you before they turn you down

Remember when Urban vs Saban was a debate?

That’s more embarrassing than LF7 vs Henry.

The outside the pants fingering a consenting coed at a bar is a lot less worrisome to me than his tendency to bail when times get tough or he gets tired.

If you hire him, you almost have to start planning for his successor immediately because he's likely only lasting 4-5 years.

Saban has staying power and consistency.

If Urban was a tougher individual and stuck it out at OSU for 15+ years I have no doubt that's still a good debate.

He just doesn't have the drive to be the GOAT like Saban.

I remember a couple of years ago Pride posting percentages and basically said Urban the odds of Urban winning more titles over the next decadewas the same as Saban.

Had he stayed at OSU, playing in a weaker conference, I absolutely could see this.

Lol yeah right. The idea that the Troys, La-Monroe's, Memphis's, etc. of college football wouldn't trip over themselves fighting to hire Urban is laughable.

Good LSU can get him a little cheaper than expected from the lack of competition.

How many think they can afford him? Rutgers isn't going to reach out to Meyer because it would just be a waste of everyone's time

Winning fixes everything. If he can start to put together a few games with the Jags in a month nobody will give a shite.

These schools aren't saying that they care about Urban's morals and integrity, they're saying they care about the PR about Urban's morals and integrity. 99% of coaches are narcissistic pieces of shite, but a small percentage are too stupid and brazen to keep it hidden and that's when teams back off

He's a builder, not a sustainer. Which is pretty remarkable for Saban to keep the focus and drive for that prolonged amount of time.

How many of the AD’s would grind their dick on that blonde if they didn’t get caught?
