Isn’t this like the 3rd school he’s transferred too?

You might wanna learn how to spell his name before printing the shirts.

I always feel bad for Rice athletes and coaches. They can have success on the field/track/court, and the support from students and alumni compared to their efforts sucks.

Don't know if I have ever seen a school with such a drastic difference in the student athletes compared to the regular student body.
That is a large part of the problem.

that opinion is shared by many amongst Rice Alumni , the University Pres. has announced hs retirement , so a change is hoped for

Rice could be a great basketball and baseball school. Football I am not sold on it ever being anything more than an onc e every decade type thing. But then Northwestern was the same way, with right capital input it can happen.

He must be worse than I thought

He did a hell of a job for Coach Taylor at East Dillon

Reminds me of Nick Montana to Tulane.

Why’d he leave Louisville ?

He didn't want to sit behind an already established depth chart. I'm not even sure why he transferred there.

They only have 3,900 undergrads, just 53k alumni living in the US, and only 27k alumni living in Texas. LINK and LINK
They are too small of a school to have a robust fan base.
Texas A&M has more undergrads on campus at 54k than Rice has alumni in the entire US. LINK

Seems like Leebron had an unusually long tenure as pres. Some new blood could be a good thing.

We already have a starter. He wants playing time immediately

If you walked around the Rice campus you’d think you were in Shanghai

Damn. I didn’t realize they were that small in regards to student population.
I remember attending the championship game of the 2015 Houston Regional in baseball. It was Cajuns vs Rice.
Cajuns fans probably outnumbered Rice fans 7 to 1 or 10 to 1. On a Monday where you’d think it would be easier for Rice alumni still in Houston to attend. I legit felt bad for their guys, especially considering the success Rice baseball has had.
